Valery Vasilievich Davidenko was born on October 04, 1986, in the city of Zaporizhzhia. Little Valery arrived prematurely, weighing 2.2 kg and measuring 44 cm in height. The health condition of the child was severe. Both doctors and the child fought for LIFE! We, the parents, rejoiced at literally every success in our son's development: only on the fourth day of life did Valery develop a sucking reflex; on the sixth day of life, he opened his blue eyes. From birth, Valery had to fight for his life. He noticeably lagged behind his peers in physical development. His skull was not yet fully formed, he had no eyelashes, no eyebrows... Immediately, a whole bouquet of illnesses fell upon the baby, which we had to defeat together. Valery's character began to form from birth. He faced the most important task – to SURVIVE!

What a joy it was for everyone, and to the great surprise of the doctors — Valery gained a whole kilogram in his first month of life and grew by 5 cm!!!

Doctors said that if the child survived first to three months, and then to three years, he would live further. With what a thirst to survive we overcame these fateful periods in life!

Valery's first tooth appeared only at one year and two months! But despite his lag in physical development, Valery immediately proved himself to be a smart and capable child. This became especially noticeable in kindergarten.

It was so interesting with him, he literally showered us with various questions and demanded exact answers to all of them. He did not accept words like 'I think', 'approximately', and 'probably'. You had to answer accurately and honestly.

All activities related to Valery's development were built in a playful way, since it was impossible to force Valery to do something by force. But if you could get him interested, you would get an unsurpassed result.

In his fourth year, Valery and I went to Yalta, because he was constantly suffering from colds. To my requests to count to twenty, an unequivocal refusal was given. But when I suggested Valery to count all the steps in Gaspra, the result was immediate. So Valery started counting to a thousand and more. He knew the Russian and English alphabets perfectly and recited them in one breath. One evening, dad said: 'Valerka, anyone can recite the alphabet from A to Z, but you try from Z to A'. And what was our surprise when in the morning, the son came and recited the alphabet in reverse order (he was the only person in our lives who could recite the alphabet from Z to A). If anyone wants to — try it!

We noticed an amazing quality in our child – in terms of development and study, Valery was a rewarding little person. He absorbed everything and had a wonderful memory. He could be developed in any direction and get excellent results.

Educators, seeing that he was a very capable child, stopped asking him questions, as they had to pay attention to the average child. Seeing such discrimination against himself, Valery declared a protest – he began to cover his face with his hands when educators passed by so they wouldn't notice him. To correct the situation, parents decided to transfer Valery to middle school when he turned 5 years old.

In school, he had amazing abilities in all subjects and was the smartest in the class. He drew very well, took first place in a drawing competition. He knew all the presidents of Ukraine, their achievements and shortcomings. When he watched the news broadcast — he could retell their content. He often asked questions that parents could not always answer.

He had another amazing quality — he tolerated pain very poorly. During any painful procedure — an injection or a tooth extraction — he sobbed uncontrollably. But then he would say: 'I was afraid, it hurt, so I cried' — meaning he gave a justification for his behavior.
